Some changes are review decisions, not final retouching. Pix42 lets you adjust brightness, contrast, gamma, saturation, color balance, crop, rotate, and flip without baking those changes into the original file.
The app stores the non-destructive settings locally and applies them again on load. That makes it useful for fast review, presentation, correction, and preview workflows where the source image should remain unchanged.

Pix42 uses a one-time Pro license for advanced workflows. It is not a full raw development suite, but it covers the practical corrections and orientation changes that often happen during browsing and culling.
